Max here, it’s a Wednesday night night and as promised I said that I would learn to write when I am also feeling good/happy/content and well today that is how I am feeling. What happened that allowed me to feel this way? Did I finally get my apartment finished or did I win the lotto??? Sadly nope. None of those. Instead I had dinner with a group of guys, I typically go at least 2 to 3 Wednesdays out of the month to have dinner with them. Their not normally the circle of people I surround myself with everyday, but then again, 80% of the time I don’t spend time with anyone. And for some reason spending the 30 mins to an hour with these guys allows me to be a little more happier. Not exactly sure why. At least I cant explain it quite yet.

But I will say this, after tonight’s dinner, I’ve decided that within 2 weeks I’m gonna go and see if someone can help me get over my fear of doing the background check needed in order to try and move forward on the mentoring program.

So what else have I done today? Sadly not a lot of much. It rained really heavily last night and I didn’t get restful sleep. Why? Well, for 1) I’ve been watching too much news. 2) the room air conditioner in my bedroom isn’t cooling so its uncomfortably warm and then cold and then warm. And 3) The blanket I was using was too short for my body and is only meant for days when its really hot. So the short of it. I didn’t sleep well. And so I just stayed in bed until at least 11am.

But on the bright side, I did some work on my taxes. Yep, I’m still doing them.

Now where am I at this moment? I’m currently sitting at Starbucks slowly sipping on a small mocha and listening to some jazz music while writing this out on my cell phone. And continuing the bright side, I’m gonna hit up Walmart on the way home, also stop by Enigmas house to see of he is feeling good enough to work with me tomorrow. Then when I get home I’m gonna work more on my taxes. Plus I’ve told myself that this week I’m gonna get something done at the 4plex. So it is almost completely written in my head that I am going to get up early, rain or shine, and get at least 8 solid hours of work on that apartment.

Whats left on the apartment? A lot of little things. Tomorrow I’m gonna put the finishing touches on the cement counters and finish off the gas lines for the dryer. And if there is still time then I’m gonna work on the outside Patio. There is a small amount of work to have it completely finished. But yeah still things to do.

OK well, just wanted to stop in and write something while my emotions are in a positive state.
