Preface…..
From time to time, I try (note that I said try) to write inspirational/motivational notes/letters to the girls I work with. In this strip club business many of the girls I work with, literally almost all of them, rarely withstand a full night of constant bombardment of No’s and being turned down. It’s just one of those things that tends to be a big mood killer for them. It also doesn’t help when they are competing with 50 to 70 other girls in such a small square foot environment.
And like I might have mentioned in a previous post. I (the DJ) am intrinsically tied to these girls. If they don’t make money then I too do not make money. The club itself (at least this club) pays me literally pennies above minimum wage and so whatever things that I am able to do or provide for my real estate business and personal life only happens because of the girls ability to believe in themselves and push thru nights where their self esteem and inner beliefs can withstand the constant deep beatings of swimming with the sharks.
So for me I have decided that I am only going to be successful if they, themselves are also successful. Painfully not all of them latch on to the understandings of my writings. Sadly it’s difficult to let go of our built in negative mindset, especially if that is what was fed to you on a regular basis as a child.
So here is one of my notes/letters that I will be giving to them next weekend. Oddly enough I can only assume that writing this also in some small subliminal way also fortifies my belief in my ability to be successful and helps to hold me steadfast when the hurricanes come.
Enjoy…….
Max.
Dripping In Challenges
In case you forgot….. you work best when dripping in challenges!
If I told you to be happy that your life is tough would you believe me? If I told you that any problems from yesterday, and any that happen today, physical or mental, are only here in your life to make you stronger… would you believe me? If I told you that every person that tells you NO or denies you from what you want, is only checking to make sure that you really want it…. would you believe me? If I told you that it is not your surroundings that you need to look at, but instead it is the story that you tell yourself about today that will kill you or propel you to your goals and your greatness…. would you believe me? On tough nights never ever ask why is it bad, instead remember that you would not have made it this far in life if you were not dripping in challenges! If life did not make sure to challenge you then you would not know why you love success so much. Remember, nothing is a problem, and nothing is a test. Any bad night is only a challenge. It is there to make you want success even more. It is not the night that defines you, but instead, it is how you decide to focus your mental mind to never forget to believe in yourself! You have turned bad nights into great nights before, so if you have done it once, then you can do it again!
Remember…… you will always work best when dripping in challenges.
