It’s a Saturday night. And work is where I am at. The day began with a blur….. The distance between Friday and Saturday was only about 4 very uncomfortable hours. I don’t sleep well. I haven’t for some time. After work (Friday night into Saturday morning) I drove the hour and a half ride back home, only to switch vehicles and then drive to my 4plex to meet one of my workers who is remodeling my largest apartment in the 4plex. It is sooooooo close to being finished. I wish it was finished already, but things just seem to always take longer than expected. Guess it is part of life. Something God says that we should enjoy. Others say its the journey and not the destination. Currently I say it is both! But who knows, I’m not to my millions yet, but when I get there……. Oh when I get there.
So after meeting with my worker and running a couple of errands I finally got to bed and woke up at least 4 times and then tossed and turned the rest of the useless sleep until it was time to drive back here to work.
What’s work like? LOL
Good question.
Work well, is not what it used to be. Now work begins on my drive to Austin. It begins with an hour and a half of something motivational, inspirational, and or teaching about business, and or creating a positive mindset that can withstand any mental beating.
This business and/or the people above me don’t help or teach anybody, instead it uses and takes from people. But I’m on a mission to slowly change that. Work for me now a days is about helping those around me to have the positive mindset necessary to provide for themselves and those around them. Work is no longer about being a strip club DJ, luckily I have evolved and the DJ part is now simply just mundane mechanics. Work is about understanding people. Work is about learning people. Work is about learning myself. Work is about following the rules that those above me set but yet I must still find time to grow internally and look for simple ways to bring a smile or hug to others and hopefully find ways to help others find the best part of themselves. It is almost an impossible task here at my job. But for me, it is a task worth taking on.

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just
sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
I thank you for your compliment. As for tips for aspiring bloggers/writers…… On the basic level, I too consider myself just a beginner. If there is anything that I have learned about writing and also about getting good at things, then it would be for me to say…. Write…. and write alot. Also listen to or read books. The more books you read then the more writing styles you get to hear and learn. (I personally “read books” by listening to them on audible) And I also have a personal diary that I write in on a regular basis. So in essence, if you want to be a great writer, then write, and write some more. Also listen to and or read books. It’s like going to the gym….. but for the brain.
Hope this helps,
luv,
Max.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! “Bill Dickey is learning me his experience.” by Lawrence Peter Berra.
